Training on Demand

We aim to bring the Library and Knowledge Service to the workplace of all staff throughout the Trust, providing a flexible service tailored to your needs. By doing so, we provide support and training to help staff access information and research for work, education, personal development, research and training.

The training courses we offer can help you identify and appraise information to support your practice and professional development.  Training is available remotely via MS Teams, at any of our four libraries, or at your workplace via 1-2-1 or small group sessions.

E-Learning for Searching the Literature

Produced by Health Education England (HEE), these modules are designed to help the healthcare workforce (clinical and non-clinical) build confidence to search published literature for articles and evidence relevant to their work, study and research. The modules are short (each taking no more than 20 minutes to complete) and may be ‘dipped into’ for reference, or completed to obtain a certificate. The modules are suitable for novice searchers and those wishing to refresh their knowledge.
